Senior Wellbeing

The emotional health and wellbeing of all members of our school (including staff, pupils and parents) is fundamental to our philosophy and ethos of knowing and nurturing each individual.

We work together to promote positive mental health and wellbeing. We endeavour to embed wellbeing into every aspect of our school. Our vision in terms of wellbeing is to promote, support and develop the mental health and resilience of our staff, children, parents and carers.

At lunch times our ‘Place to Be’ sessions offer a range of activities and a member of staff for pupils to talk to. Wellbeing needs are also supported through regular PSHE sessions, wellbeing questionnaires, group work and check ins.

If needed, support may be sourced from outside agencies, working with parents, pupils and school staff as appropriate.
