Welcome To Our Sixth Form
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Sixth Form at Gosfield School.
I am delighted to have led our Sixth Form since 2019. We’re big enough to ensure our students have a full Sixth Form experience and a wealth of opportunities in curricular, sports and leadership, but small enough to ensure that students receive the academic and pastoral care needed to achieve their goals at this critical time in their education. Our students consistently achieve the target grades required for the university and degree courses of their choice and in recent yearsmany have achieved entrance to their first choice universities.
Our Sixth Form is a family-based environment where our students thrive, taking on additional responsibility roles and being role models to younger pupils throughout the school. Our Sixth Form Centre is at the heart of our main school building and very much part of our whole school, set in the tranquil surrounding of our 110-acre estate.
Sixth Form success is a partnership. Achieving the academic, arts and sporting outcomes is coupled to developing critical life skills and experiences to prepare our most senior students to leave us as well-rounded young adults. Our teaching staff are passionate about what they do and they share their specialist subject enthusiasm with our students to ensure the best possible outcomes.

About Mrs Perella
Mrs Perella studied English and American Literature at Kent University and was awarded QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in 2009. She has since taught English Language and Literature at schools across Essex before joining Gosfield as Head of Sixth Form in 2019. Since then, Mrs Perella has brought her own progressive ideas to shaping our Sixth Form to make it the successful, thriving community that serves our students so well.
