Fenwicks Horse called Blanche

We subscribed to the Fenwicks' Christmas Carousel Horse decoration this year in which our pupils can decorate a carousel horse to be proudly displayed in Fenwicks’ Colchester store over Christmas.

The project began at our Open Morning in October, and some of our talented artists, Evie Spenceley, Bertie Thomas, Alex McCreath, George Paget, Hollie Stapleton had great pleasure in decorating the Carousel Horse who is now affectionately known as Blanche.

We aimed for a frosty Christmas theme with a rose gold winter wonderland feel. Blanche has been embellished with gems and glitter and her feather reins make her unique to Gosfield Schools design. We do hope she will raise funds for charity when we get to bid for her to be back at school with us and sit proudly in the entrance hall alongside the Giraffe that was decorated for a similar scheme for Colchester Zoo.

The pupils have done a fantastic job with the help of Mrs Gwynne our Head of Art and we do hope many will go and visit her in store and enjoy celebrating her success.
